IMPORTANT NOTES

1.       Registration deadline for authors with accepted papers is March 1 March 15, 2008.

2.       An accepted paper will be published in the proceedings only if the final camera-ready version is accompanied with a regular registration and payment by at least one of the authors (i.e., no student registration will be allowed for this purpose).

3.       One regular registration will cover the publication of up to two accepted papers of the registrant (either in IJCNN, FUZZ-IEEE, or CEC). Each additional accepted paper associated with the same registration is subject to a mandatory publication fee of HK$1560 (US$200).

4.       For student registration, a proof of current full-time student status is required (i.e., a copy of student card or certification from University).

5.       The page limit for each paper is eight. Up to two additional pages are permitted for an  overlength charge of HK$780 (US$100) per additional page.

6.       Orders of additional banquet tickets, additional DVD proceedings, or additional CD edited book of plenary/invited speakers after April 15, 2008 are subject to availability.

7.       On-site registration for tutorials is not available.

8.       Refund policy: Processing fee HK$780 (US$100) by March 15, 2008. No refund will be honored after March 15, 2008.

9.       No printed proceedings will be made available.

10.   The edited book of plenary/invited speakers will be published by Springer as a volume of Lecture Notes of Computer Science (LNCS) - State-of-the-Art Survey. The hardcopy can be ordered directly from Springer in mid-May, 2008.
 

Methods of payment (registration can be made in either Hong Kong dollars or US dollars).

1.       By credit card: Visa or Mastercard only

Information on the total amount payment (in Hong Kong dollars only), card number, card holder's name, and date of expiration must be entered into the secured WCCI2008 registration site.
 

2.       By bank draft :  

   Please make sure that the following important points are completed:

  • The bank draft in Hong Kong dollars must be payable to "IEEE Hong Kong Section".
     
  • The bank draft in US dollars must be payable to "IEEE WCCI2008".
     
  • Write your full registrant's name, paper code(s) (if any) on the back of the bank draft.
     
  • Upload a scanned copy of the bank draft to the WCCI2008 registration site.
     
  • Send the bank draft together with a copy of registration form to
